K&W Chapel Hill Receives Award
K&W in Chapel Hill, N.C. has received an award for 15 years of involvement with the Inter-Faith Council for Social Service’s RSVVP event. The event is held in November each year and restaurants donate a percentage of their receipts on the designated day toward fighting hunger in the community. RSVVP benefits the Community Kitchen and the Community Food Pantry in the Chapel Hill area.
K&W Cafeterias, Inc, President, Dax Allred, says “I am proud that we can be a part of this very worthwhile, high-profile event to fight hunger in the community.” K&W continually takes a stand in the fight against hunger with donations and assistance to area food banks.
Vice-President, Jeff Loken and K&W Chapel Hill General Manager, Jerome Solomon accepted the award on behalf of K&W Cafeterias, Inc., on September 10th, 2013, at a banquet held at the Sienna Hotel.
